BARRAKO COFFEE LIQUEUR

San Jose  Batangas is a Philippine town where first coffee trees were planted in around 1750’s. For decades, it carried the famous coffee variety coffea liberica, commonly known worldwide as Kapeng Barako.

 

Aldio Food and Beverage aims to revitalize the production and promote the utilization of Kapeng Barako in San Jose and other neighboring towns and provinces to the rest of the world, being one of the only three countries, Malaysia, Ethiopia and Philippines, that cultivate such variety.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale)  is a native Asian plant now widely cultivated in tropical regions of the world for its culinary and herbal uses.

The underground stem  called rhizome is the most familiar part which is very aromatic.

 

Aldio Food and Beverage  recognizes the immense properties of ginger as culinary and herbal ingredient. The creation of Marias Ginger Liqueur is based on the thrust of an a   l  coholic beverage bursting with health benefits suited for light social drinking. The lower alcohol content of the liqueur accedes with the worldwide campaign of moderate alcohol intake to harness the goodness in the beverage.

 

Marias Ginger Liqueur starts off at selecting the best quality native white ginger, creation of syrup from sugarcane extracts and superior spirits from reputable distilleries.
